All guests must read and understand the terms and conditions before booking.

At the time of completion of the booking all guests agree to abide these terms and conditions.



The renter himself must be at least 25 years of age. The renter himself must be a guest in the apartment/cottage during the rental period.

The renter may be required to provide a legal identification card, for example a driver license or a passport, on arrival. If the renter fails to provide legal identification when requested, Hrímland reserves the right to terminate the agreement without refund.

Number of guests in each apartment/cottage should not be more than stated in the Booking confirmation.



All accommodation is paid in advance and all payments must go through a secure payment gateway from credit card companies. Guests are therefore required to provide credit card details at the time of booking.

Guests will be charged a prepayment of the total price of the reservation in the 14 days before the arrival.



Information about handing over the keys etc. will be emailed to the renter.

Arrival & Departure

The apartments/cottages are available from 17:00 on day of arrival.

The apartment/cottage is to be returned no later than 12:00 on day of departure.

Cottages: Keys are delivered in the box outside the cottage. For the code to the key box please call +354 866 2696. Please turn the keys back to the box outside on departure.

Apartments: Guests can open the apartment with a certain code. For the code to the apartment please call +354 866 2696.



Guests must treat the apartment/cottage with respect and return them in a tidy condition.

Guests are asked to empty the fridge, put the dishes into the dishwasher and to take ALL trash with them.

If the apartment/cottage is returned in an unacceptable condition Hrímland reserves the right to charge all costs in that regard on the credit card of the renter.



Other commitments

Guests shall comply with all rules, regulations and instructions at Hrímland premises, including but not limited to security procedures, health and safety procedures, registration requirements.

Guests are obliged to show neighbours consideration and respect. From 00:00 to 08:00 in the morning no noise is allowed.

If these commitments are not followed by guests Hrímland reserves the right to depart guests immediately from the apartment/cottage. There will be no refund in this case.

Hrímland reserves the right to refuse a guest entry or accommodation or to require a guest to leave Hrímland if unreasonable behaviour is displayed, for example threatening or abusive behaviour, causing disturbance to other guests or is otherwise unacceptable.

Children under 13 years of age must always be supervised by an accompanying adult while at Hrímland premises.



The lessee bears full responsibility for the conduct and all household goods during their stay and is committed to improving the damage that may occur by him or of guests staying in the apartment/cottage on his behalf. All cost due to violation of the property or household goods will be charged to the credit card of the renter.

Cancellations, changes and charges

If guests request to change reservation, please contact Hrimland and we will do our best to change your booking.

Cancellation policy: Standard cancellation is 14 days prior to arrival. In the case of late cancellation or no show Hrímland will charge for the booking in full. Note that guests are charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival.

Force Majure

Hrímland cannot be held liable for delays or cancellations that are caused by events that are beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to strikes, restriction on supplies, acts of civil or military authority, acts of terrorism, insurrections, peace or army action, civil commotion, demonstrations, natural disasters, etc.


Lost property

Please contact for lost and found items. Found items will be kept for a period of three months.
