Perfect place to discover the north of Iceland, specially Akureyri self and the surroundings of Myvatn with its thermal bath, Dimmuborgir and the Godafoss. The ski resort was nice to discover.
The cottage was well equipped, everything you need was in the house.

Our family had enough room to... read more stretch out in a way not possible in a normal hotel room. There was still a bit of construction in the area surrounding the neighborhood while we stayed. No problem with the construction itself. The view was just not as nice as it will be when the work is finished. My family and I would stay there again if we were back in town.

The location is... read more very easy to find and it is a small collection or community of several identical yet private accommodations. Each unit has three bedrooms, each with different configuration options, a full kitchen, laundry, 1.5 bathrooms and a spa. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here and found the place to be very relaxing and a terrific base for seeing north Icleand - which has no shortage of fabulous sights!

When we arrived, we contacted the own who had arranged for the access so we simply arrived at the place and it was all ready and we had a key upon arrival. A nice bonus to the place is they have high speed Internet available, allowing us to catch up on what we had missed while traveling and post some updates to our friends and family.

  Our cottage no. 3 was well suited for our family of five. Having an extra 1/2 bath helps. Furnishings were comfortable and there was enough seating to enjoy the living... read more area so we could all hang our together. It was clean, well stocked for cooking and dinnerware for meals. I'm not sure I understood the patio, which I think was designed for wind and snow protection? We would certainly return and recommend overall.
